Winter Blues ~ Or Whites to be precise!

This Chicago winter is kicking my @#@$. I am a warm weather gal who has no idea why she sticks around in colder than Alaska Chicago.

My hands and feet are the first feel the nip. I won't last for a minute in regular shoes in Chicago winter. What I need are these. I heart bright whites~ so chic.
They should keep the toes toasty.

Now I only need a hot cup of something to warm my fingers. :)

Luv me some minerals

I absolutely HATE using powder on my face! It just seeps in my large as crater pores and looks all dry and makeup-y IYKWIM. I am usually happy with just my Chanel foundation but sometimes a girl needs some help with stopping the oil slick that shines through the foundation.
But one day I discovered this~ OOOH. Its organic (green?) just the way I like it AND helps keep the shine low. It somehow manages to give my face a glow when used judiciously. :) It makes me one happy chick or Dog???

Long Hiatus

Its been a long time since I blogged about anything. Nothing seemed worth enough the effort really.



But I am now all excited about blogging again.

Here is a picture from our Florida trip this time last year. This weird creature was shaped like a ball~ black and hard with shells sticking off the surface. I have no idea about its name or genus. will update it when I find out.
